Nathaniel Hadlock

Biography

  • Nathan completed his Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Electrical Engineering in June, 2005.  He joined the BioMEMS group in 2005 and is currently in the first year of his Masters studies.  In addition to his research, Nathan is an avid adventure cyclist, and is involved with local political and environmental groups.  For more information about Nathan¡¯s cycling trips www.crosscountrycycle.blogspot.com.

Work Experience (co-op)
  • Orbital Scientific, Vandenberg AFB, CA, 2004
    - Responsibilities included modifying, conducting, and evaluating test involving rocket electrical verification for national defense.  Identified, troubleshot, and resolved vehicle discrepancies.  Created automatic data analysis tool using Matlab resulting in a test schedule time savings of 10.4%

  • Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Cincinnati, OH,2002-2003
    - Designed electrical interconnects for complex drug-delivery system.  Designed a unique way to ablate tissue using RF energy, which was submitted for patent consideration. Conducted prototype tests in animal labs.

  • GE Power Systems, Cincinnati, OH, 2001-2002
    - Provided first line gas turbine warranty coverage and resolution.  Worked with customersto solve technical problems
