Biography

Sthitodhi Ghosh is currently a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Chong H. Ahn in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of Cincinnati. Broadly conceived, his doctoral work is an attempt towards developing a low-cost, ultra sensitive point-of-care diagnostic system for rapid detection of infectious diseases. The successful completion of his doctoral goals can have a very high impact on the rapid diagnosis of life-threatening infectious diseases in resource-limited environments. Before commencing his graduate studies at University of Cincinnati, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
